No, you do not need to be a private patient. Both NHS and private patients are welcome to book hygiene appointments at our Fishponds dental clinic. Our hygienists provide tailored advice and thorough cleaning to help prevent gum disease, improve oral health, and keep your smile fresh. Many patients choose to visit regularly in between their routine check-ups for added protection and confidence.
We aim to accommodate NHS appointments whenever possible. However, availability can vary depending on demand and our current NHS capacity.
If you’re experiencing a dental emergency and would like to be seen under the NHS, please call the practice as soon as possible. Our team will advise you on whether we’re able to offer an NHS emergency slot at that time.
If NHS appointments are fully booked, we may still be able to see you on a private basis for urgent care. We’ll always explain your options clearly so you can make an informed decision.
